In-person workshop provide you with the skills to make block patterns for you and your family in a relaxed and friendly environment with experienced teachers in a quick and easy way.

This is a great way to learn the tricks of the trade giving you the confidence to sew for yourself and even others.

Workshops are run to cover specific topics such and dress, sleeve and collar, or pants, or children’s wear.

Online workshops provide anyone anywhere in the world the opportunity to really enhance their knowledge and experience with using The Pattern Drafter rulers.

We take you step by step through everything from measuring correctly, drafting your block patterns, preparing and fitting a calico garment, making tailored adjustments to your blocks based on your fitting, to create your final master block patterns.  We also include a design section teaching you the fundamentals and basics of modifying your blocks into designs.

Ever wondered how to create a pattern from your favourite garments?

Here’s a great example of how to modify your block patterns to turn them in to a design pattern (just like how the commercial patterns are made!)
